According to USAA Magazine, Summer Edition, 60% of American Retirees will retire with less than $50,000 in total savings and investments! Could you imagine being in business for 30 years; being loved by all of your clients or customers; then retiring with less than $50,000? That is insanity with a capital “I”. If you are struggling now to make ends meet, how will you turn it around so you can actually save and have a comfortable retirement ? 1. Learn How to Run a Business. Too many small business owners are running a hobby not a business. It is imperative that you be able to generate and read a profit and loss statement and a balance sheet. There are two ways to increase your bottom line. (1) Increase income and (2) decrease expenses.
